My new badge! I finally got it!

Today at school, we were told that the prefects who were absent yesterday will meet him to receive something at the CCA room. Since I as a prefect, did not receive the thing, went. Actually, I was not absent, but that was not asked, if did, i would have feigned presence. I just did not go and told my friends i would feign absence if i had to.

I always knew that if he asked to meet some leaders(etc), he would call for the absent ones the next day. I told my friends who were also prefects, "Never mind la! Not as if no chance! Mr. Rodger Chua always tell the absent ones to collect it the next day! Take it that I'm absent!" And in fact, it did happen. But i turned rather frantic when i was asked a few questions.

But, still, everything went smoothly. Blah blah...... blah blah.............blah blah.................. Over! So okay, not a problem! And do you want to know what I recived? A badge! I recieved a badge? Hah? Huh? What badge? Oh, for goodness sake! Of course, the prefects badge! What else could it be other than the prefects badge?

I was over the moon. Nonono, I was not over the moon in outer space. It was hard to put it on intially, but i did it in the end. I would know that i had to get it someday, so i was not so surprised. Not saying I'm not surprised, I am surprised, just that i knew this from the time i was appointed a prefect.
