My Worst Fever Ever

Ding dong ding dong ding dong ding! It reached the dismissal time. As usual, i packed up my stuff, galloped down the stairs and headed out for the side gate exit of TKPS. My great grandmother was at the entrance of the school gate, waiting for me. As usual, i walked home. Took some time to reach home. How tiring! My muscles always ached whenever i carry my schoolbag.

When I reached home, I jumped into the shower, ate my lunch and went to do my homework. I was also told to nap after completing my school homework. Oh-uh, bad idea. Right when I woke up from my nap, I soon felt tightness in my head. The pain was irresistible. I was in a daze. I felt that when i walked, i weighed like twice my own weight and was swishing here and there like drunk.

Not long my grandmother was puzzled why I did not get up and went to my room to check on me. I told her that i did not feel well and was dizzy. She immediately called my mother to inform her about my condition I was in.

I was then told to get the thermometer to checked my temperature. Oh my goodness god! The temperature was 39.6 degrees Celsius. I hope it was not that I got Malaria or got stung by the Aedes mosquitoes.

I felt so unwell that I did not even have enough strength to walk around the house. Well, actually I could, but it was found extremely difficult to do so. Even getting up from my bed was very uncomfortable.

The very next following day, I was taken to the doctor's by my mother. It was then diagnosed that my illness was a fever. Lucky it was not kind of Dengue Fever or Malaria. Seems that my hopes came true!

If it was Dengue Fever or Malaria, I wonder how many days I would be cooped up in my own room!

I was also prescribed three different types of medicine to take at certain times: such as before meals, after meals or before sleep. I hated the medicine that was black in colour and round. It was dry.

I was not able to attend school for a couple of two to three days. My mother said that it was better to go to school as soon as possible, so that I did not have too much homework to do when I resumed school!

During the absent days in school, I spent most of my time lying in bed. I hoped that my absence in school lasted until Thursday or Friday.

Well you could say I was skiving but you are wrong. If I wanted to resume school as soon as possible, it would have to wait til I've fully recovered if not, who knows I will faint in class!

The Day My Exams Results Were Released

It was a humid Wednesday afternoon. It was barely half a period before school ends. And.... the exams results were gonna be released! Well, i wasn't really looking forward to know the results of the exams.

Well unless i got first in class......... Hahahaha........ Who knows... It's God's decision! Actually, i was quite going to look forward...... but it is the holidays. Children are so fortunate nowadays.... Ha ha..... Talking about holidays, i am gonna leave on a vacation...... to the Highlands, Genting Highlands. To enjoy the free 'air conditioning' . To look at the beautiful scenery........ To........... To....... It was almost the end of school.

i had a hard time carrying awards. Huh? Awards? What is that you are talking about? Oops. Forgot to tell you the exciting part. Huh? What exciting part?

It goes on like this:

It was not even ten minutes before school ends. Mrs Amoganathan, our form teacher were preparing to announce the results of our Semestral Assessment 1 examinations. Nerves went down my spinal cord. To my surprise, i got first in class! Congratulations! i even got first for English, Mathematics, Chinese and got second for Science. Congratulations to all winners!

And be happy with your results!

My First 1 Km Jog

It was a dark morning. but the forecast wasn't for rain, though a bit dark. Not the meaning of 'no lights' but you get the meaning because it was only 7A.M.i thought it was perfect morning for a jog, a morning jog.
As the sun wasn't out so i thought i would not sweat. i went to wash up , change into my clothes and trackshoes. i then went down with 2 people of my family. we went to the park to jog right behind Blk 612.
I've barely jogged past the soccer court when i began panting. this occurs often to me because if i don't eat breakfast or drink sufficient water. Now, where did i stop? oh, yes, i panted all way throughout my whole 1 km jog. guess i'm not much of a morning run person. guess i'm correct. on Thursday night, i did not pant or sweat so much as compared to today, Saturday. perhaps the temperature was hotter this morning.
Hahahaha... maybe i should jog earlier. But i think that will be even worse... : insufficient energy!
